I grew up in South Dakota around small businesses — watching people pour everything into their work and earn every dollar the hard way. That’s where my respect for tradespeople comes from, and it’s why I started ATC Nexus.
I’ve run my own business, so I know the part nobody warns you about: you’re so busy doing the work that the follow-up slips. A missed call doesn’t get returned. A finished job never gets the review. A past customer never hears from you again — and six months later they hired someone else.
It’s not that contractors don’t care. It’s that they’re on a roof, not at a desk.
